What does the price include?
The price includes:
Transport in Cyprus
Meals (half board)
Arabic course and materials
Are flights included? And can you book them for me?
Flights are not included
We can help you to find a suitable flight but the booking and payment has to be done by you.
Who can apply for concessions?
If you are on a low income and recieve goverment benefits, please contact us to apply for up to 33% discount. This does not include single room accomdation.
Where and when do we meet?
All sisters will meet at Larnaca airport at 10 pm Saturday 11th April. You will then be transported to the resort.
How many sisters are on the retreat?
There is a maximum of 15 sisters on the retreat.
What level of Arabic do I need to be?
You will need to be able to read Arabic alphabet quite fluently, recognising some words
Will I get a certificate and what level will I have achieved?
Yes you will recieve a certificate from Dar Fatima Language School upon successful completion of the course.
The course is beginners Arabic, essential foundations for undertanding Qur'an.
Do you cater for special diets?
Please let us know what dietary restrictions you may have and we can try to accomodate this.
There is a a la carte menu so you can choose from a variety of halal
Can I bring my children?
Unfortunately, due to the studying nature of the course, this retreat is an adults only retreat. Older teenage girls however, are very welcome.
What will the weather be like and what shall I bring?
The average weather in Cyrpus that time of year is sunny with average temperates of 26 degrees.
Upon booking, you will recieve lots of information including what to bring/what to wear and travel tips.
Can I get a refund?
We have a one week cooling off period and after that it is a scaled amount depending on how much time is left before the retreat. Please see our terms and conditions.
Where does the money go to?
Halima Retreats is a not for profit organisation so we offer the retreats at cost price so that as many ladies can access them as possible. Any profits go to our Halima Retreats concessions fund.
